Koke is an independent comparison site, not a lender. We may be paid when you visit a lender or send an enquiry through Koke. How we make money

How Koke researches and rates lenders

Are Koke’s ratings independent?

Yes. Ratings are set by our editors using a published rubric. Commercial staff can’t see or change scores. A lender that pays us is reviewed exactly like one that doesn’t, and every lender has at least two listed cons.

Where does Koke get its information?

Provincial rules come from regulators and legislation. Lender facts come from the lender’s own website and contracts, published lender reviews, and our own walk-through of each application. Each fact is listed under Sources with the date we checked it.

How are licences checked?

We look up every lender on each provincial regulator’s registry before listing it, and again every 90 days. If we can’t confirm a current licence for a province, the lender doesn’t appear for that province.

How are lenders rated?

Cost 30%, transparency 25%, licensing 20%, flexibility 15%, support 10%. Two editors score separately, and large gaps go to a third. See the full rubric.

What language does Koke avoid?

We don’t promise approval, speed or results a lender can’t promise, and we don’t use countdown timers or urgency tactics. Approval, cost and timing are always the lender’s decision.

How are corrections handled?

Email [corrections@koke.ca]. We reply within two business days, and every change is recorded in the page’s update log with the date.

One application. A real offer. Your decision.

Tell us what you need once. Our matching partner LeadScout looks for the lender that fits your answers and takes you straight to the offer. Read the cost, compare it with the alternatives, and only sign if it works for you.

Koke is not a lender and may be paid when you apply. Lenders decide approval, cost and terms. No SIN, online-banking login or ID photos asked.
