How Koke makes money

Last updated:

Koke is free to use. We earn money in these ways, and we want you to know each of them.

  1. Application referrals. When you apply through our application page, your answers go to our matching partner LeadScout, which may pay us for the referral. LeadScout may match you with the lender you picked or with other lenders and loan providers.
  2. Featured listings. Lenders can pay to appear in featured sections. These are always labelled “Featured”.
  3. Sponsored placements. Lenders can pay for the first position in some lists. It’s labelled “Sponsored” in plain text.
  4. Website referrals. If you click through to a lender’s own website and later take a loan, the lender may pay us. Those links use rel=”sponsored”.

What can’t money buy on Koke?

A higher rating, a “best for” label, removal of a con, a listing without a verified licence, or a place in our cost comparisons and calculator.
